SEO Manager/Senior Manager
We help our clients win across organic search, whether that’s across search engines or LLMs, and we offer a comprehensive SEO/GEO service including content, technical, and local SEO, in addition to a dedicated GEO bolt-on. Our goal is to use data to make meaningful optimisations for our clients, and to collaborate with wider marketings channels such as CRO and Analytics (both in-house services), and PPC and Paid Social (working with our client’s internal and agency teams). Following almost three years of successful growth, we are seeking an experienced individual who will focus on driving strategy forward for our clients. You will be working directly under the Head of SEO, helping to shape the future of the department and our services.
As a small but growing agency, you will have a fantastic opportunity to shape the direction and growth of Hookflash. As we continue to build, we will rely on your expertise in SEO to help us build a best-in-class practice. Your contributions will be instrumental in shaping the future of our agency and the services we offer. Core responsibilities will include:
- Driving forward, and effectively communicating performance of, SEO & GEO strategies
- Building strong relationships with clients, acting as the main point of contact for project/retainer-based work
- Overseeing content, technical, and GEO audits, providing feedback to the execution team and layering up insights into an overarching strategy
- Leveraging project management software such as Notion to effectively track and manage team delivery
- Leveraging proprietary & third-party tools such as Semrush, SEOMonitor and AthenaHQ to drive maximum impact for clients
- Management of 2-3 individuals, ranging from Executive to Senior Executive level
- Training and upskilling of the team in existing and emerging pillars of SEO
- Creation and management of client dashboards & insights delivery on a monthly basis
- Collaborating with the Head of SEO and other SEO Managers to define the overall SEO strategy of the department, shaping best practices and working with platform providers to get the most out of our data
- Collaborating with our internal CRO (we call it “Experimentation”) and Analytics teams to drive our vision for digital optimisation further; seeking opportunities for combined case studies, ways of working, innovation, and so on
- Collaborating with our media agency partners to drive a combined SEO/PPC strategy for applicable clients
Candidates are required to have at least 4 years of agency-side experience under their belts, and be available to be in our Shoreditch (London) office 2-3 times per week.
